AMERICAN ART NOW
Every Five Years, the Whitney Takes the Temperature of American Art. This Is That Moment.
The Whitney Biennial is not a celebration. It is a reckoning — a survey of where American art stands, what it is wrestling with, and who is doing the work that matters. Since 1932, it has been the most debated, most anticipated, most argued-over exhibition in the country.
Tarik Talk was there. These are the conversations.
